TRI-CITY Foot & Orthotic Clinic

What is Chiropody?

“the practice of Chiropody is the assessment and treatment of the foot by therapeutic, orthotic or other palliative means.”

Within their scope of practice, Chiropodists and Podiatrists are the only foot care professionals able to prescribe corrective action through the use of orthotics.

Chiropodists and Podiatrists are the only regulated health professionals that specialize in treating conditions of the foot. They have a minimum of 7-8 years of post-secondary education before obtaining their professional designation.

The scope of practice for Chiropodist and podiatrists allows them to treat skin conditions, nail conditions, subcutaneous lesions, bone deformities, and biomechanical problems.

Chiropodists and podiatrists are the only regulated health professionals whose scope of practice includes the provision of orthotics.

We are here to help!

We're in the business of helping people feel better.  Your feet take a lot of wear & tear and can become the source for a great deal of annoyance or discomfort. It is a great feeling when we see the relief on our patient's faces and know we've been able to manage or completely remove their foot concern.
