Spring Foot Wear
Spring is almost here! We can finally move our heavy boots to the back of the closet in favour of a lighter pair of shoes. On the other hand, you might feel a little self-conscious about showing your feet off in sandals due to those fungal nails or flaky skin. With the milder weather comes a tough decision… what shoes should you wear? This decision is especially difficult for women who like to wear sandals or ballet flats. It’s no secret that ballet flats are not recommended due to their lack of support. So, how can you wear your ballet flats without causing too much stress on your joints? A dress orthotic can help support the arch, the same goes for your sandals! If possible, get an orthotic to fit the sandal. At the Waterloo Foot Clinic, we will gladly provide you with custom-casted orthotics which provide greater support than over- the-counter insoles as they are fit individually. At Waterloo Foot Clinic, we treat a wide variety of foot conditions. If you are feeling any pain or discomfort, trust your foot with a foot specialist and contact us at (519) 884-3668 or email info@waterloofootclinic.com to schedule an appointment. We look forward to seeing you! Waterloo Foot Clinic is located at 50 Westmount Rd. N Unit 207 in Waterloo (in the Westmount Plaza).
